Manchester Untied fans have responded to Almeria’s light-hearted tweet about signing Nottingham Forest starlet Arvin Appiah.
The 18-year-old completed an £8million move to Almeria on Monday’s European transfer deadline day.
Appiah, who made just six first-team appearances for Forest, had been a reported Manchester United target before opting for the second tier Spanish club.
The England Under-19 international signed a five-year contract and looks set to fulfil his potential in Spain.
After capturing the highly-rated forward, Almeria tweeted: “Sorry @ManUtd Arvin Appiah is red and white #UDAlmeria #F5DAY.”

However, it does not seem like United fans are too heartbroken about missing out on Appiah, with some supporters claiming not to know who he is…
